Flags Now Available

16th May, 2019

Flags at a range of sizes are now available to purchase from our website shop via our supplier, Welsh Social Enterprise Red Dragon / Draigcoch.

When searching for the right people to make Ai Weiwei’s flag the Fly The Flag team knew how important it was to ensure that we found a company who could uphold the highest standards of human rights. Through guidance from human rights charities and a rigorous process we found Red Dragon.

All flags are made in the UK at the Red Dragon workshop in South Wales and Red Dragon is the only flag maker incorporated and run as a social interest company with all profits going back into personal and professional development of staff. The values and working practices of Red Dragon will ensure that the flags not only represent human rights, but have respect for human rights woven into their very fabric.

We are proud to work with them and delighted to support their work. As well as the standard sizes, you can also commission a bespoke flag to your own specifications directly from Red Dragon. To find out more contact them directly at enquiries@reddragonflagmakers.co.uk or call 01792 844676.

We want as many people as possible to join in and Fly The Flag. No partner involved in the project will receive income from the sale of flags. The flags are being sold at the cheapest price possible, whilst maintaining the highest ethical production standards.

But you don’t need to purchase a flag to participate. As a creative project we are actively encouraging you to make your own flag and fly it. Download our resource pack to inspire you.
