Fly The Flag continues in 2022, a UK-wide collaboration between arts organisations and human rights charities. This year will focus on Article 20 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) – the right to protest.

Building on the model of 2021, Fly The Flag 2022 will invite young people across the four nations of the UK to co-create work with leading theatre artist, Jenny Sealey MBE, alongside associates in each nation.

The central project will be co-produced by Fuel, the National Theatre in London, The National Theatre of Scotland in Glasgow, National Theatre Wales in Pembrokeshire and The Mac in Belfast.

The young participants will explore the right to protest, creating work which will be captured and showcased later this year. Alongside this, schools and arts organisations across the UK will take part in engagement activities, promoting Human Rights and Article 20, culminating in a celebration of this work on 10th December, Human Rights Day.

More information will be released soon, keep checking back here and on our social media for the latest news.
